What is ultra running? A running or racing event that is longer in

Kasey is my 11 year old terrier mix that loves to hike and run. Her other favorite pastimes include
laying in the sun and dancing on her back legs. Gizmo is my 3 year old griffon mix, who we
affectionately call monkey man. He would rather eat and play with his toys than go running. They
both do agility courses, which keeps them active and obedient.
What is dog agility? Dog agility is a series of obstacles on a course that dogs run in competition or
for fun and training. In competition the judges watch for speed, accuracy and safety. Kasey has
competed a few times but is not the speediest of dogs and the crowds tend to scare her. Gizmo has
been training for 3 years and is ready to try a competition. Mostly we just have fun and it is a easy
way to sneak in the obedience training. You can link to

Peak, Spring of 2005.
